Service Description
Cat will lead you through her favorite techniques for adding dimension and texture to wool felt using beads and sequins. These techniques can be applied to many different fabric bases, and we’ll discuss other applications during the workshop. Sewing experience is nice to have, but not necessary. You will walk away with a finished piece, if you don’t finish, you’ll go home with the supplies and instructions for how to finish your artwork. All supplies provided from Cat’s (very) large embellishment stash, feel free to bring your favorites if you’d like. You are welcome to bring snacks, or grab some chips from Rhino Deli next door.(Saucy/messy foods are NOT recommended). Free Range’s tasty beverages are always available, and highly recommended, at your own cost. Hosted by Free Range Brewing’s NODA location; 2320 N Davidson St D, Charlotte, NC 28205. We will be working at the tables in the front of the brewery, just inside the doors. Look for the pile of beads and you’ll know you’re in the right place! PARKING: If the parking lot is full, additional parking options include FREE for all parallel parking along E 27th street, and a parking garage on the left-side of the E 27th St.
