Ballybunion is a 15 minute bus ride from Listowel. The first time we went, our pockets were stuffed with stones and shells when we returned to the studio. This brooch was made from thread from home, woven into a tight fabric reminiscent of the ropes washed up on the beach. The rock let itself be woven into the fabric, holes ready to be connected.
