Air & Dust Show Recap

Here’s a quick wrap up for anyone who missed the Air & Dust duet show at the Courthouse Gallery curated by Friday Nights Art Project!

I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t initially SEE their vision, putting my work next to Joan Coff’s paintings, but damn if it didn’t make perfect sense once everything was on the walls.

Joan’s work reflects her time in the southwest, the colors and dry heat of what she painted balanced so well with the textural, ‘humidity of my tufted work. I really, really loved so many pairings. Here are a few of my favorites:
